Superb location, a 5-min stroll to the beach, with friendly service making you feel welcome. The kitchenette is a plus, perfect for families, with nice touches like beach umbrellas available.

Inconsistent room cleanliness detracted from my experience, as I noticed neglected areas and issues with the shower fixtures. Plus, certain staff lacked vital local knowledge, which hindered my outing plans.

Rooms are lekker spacious, and the brekkie had an awesome variety. The location is so close to the beach, and the staff were proper chommies, helping with tips around town. Eina, the comfy bed felt like a cloud!

I was also frustrated when the bathroom door's utility fixture crashed down causing potential harm. it really put a damper on my stay.

The Jay Hotel's delightful staff made us feel at home, while the beautifully decorated rooms added charm to our family vacation. We particularly loved the complementary sparkling water fountain, making late-night refreshments special.
